(BROUSSARD) –Billeaud Companies, a more than century-old community, business and real estate development company, announced the recent promotion of Jennifer Whitmore to Vice President, Real Estate Operations. In this expanded role Whitmore will be responsible for Billeaud Companies’ real estate matters including new tenant acquisition, leasing, and ongoing tenant relations in the company’s numerous office and retail holdings.
“In many ways, Jennifer has been the face and voice of our company with our tenants, contractors and real estate professionals in the area,” said Steven P. Hebert, CEO, Billeaud Companies. “I cannot even begin to tell you how honored I am to work with her and how much respect I have for her work ethic and incredible attitude,” Hebert concluded.
A 26-year veteran of Billeaud Companies, Whitmore has served in almost every capacity in the organization and was most recently a Leasing Specialist. She has and will continue to manage the Billeaud Companies’ relationships with tenants in a growing list of properties throughout Acadiana. She attended UL Lafayette and the Community Development Institute in addition to her many years in the business development and real estate field. Whitmore has served as the 2013 Louisiana Ducks Unlimited State Treasurer and the Broussard Economic Development Committee, is a long time member of the Ducks Unlimited Lafayette Committee and the Krewe of Xanadu.
