Billeaud Companies support St. Joseph Church in Broussard

(BROUSSARD) –Billeaud Companies recently presented a check in the amount of $12,500 to St Joseph Church in Broussard. This gift is an annual grant made to the church parish to fund operations for the parish and its mission chapel in Cade. Billeaud Companies has a long history with this particular parish dating back to establishment of the church in 1954.

“We are grateful for the friendship and many years of service provided by the parishioners of St. Joseph,” said Chuck Billeaud, Chairman of the Board, Billeaud Companies. “Billeaud Companies wants to invest where and with those whom we work, this partnership is a great opportunity to do so,” Billeaud concluded.

St. Joseph Church is located at 232 St. De Porres Street in Broussard. Home to over 400 families, St. Joseph also serves the St. Anthony Mission Church in Cade. St. Joseph Pastor the Very Rev. Thomas James, SVD, VE joined the chairpersons of the church fair, Natalie Martin and Velma Charles to accept the grant check on behalf of the parish.

“The support of Billeaud Companies and the Billeaud family has been steadfast throughout the history of this parish,” said St. Joseph pastor Father James. “The communities’ support of our ministry is important to the sustainability and growth of St. Joseph and St. Anthony,” James continued.
