Houma native Jeanne M. Breaux was recently elected to fill the vacancy created by the passing of Stephen Wise on the Billeaud Cos. Board of Directors. Wise had served as a beloved board member since 1995 and will be missed.
Breaux is a member of the Eulalie Billeaud Comeaux family. She is the daughter of Bernard F. Breaux, Jr. and granddaughter of Marguerite Louise (Bim) St. Julien Breaux. She was born and raised in Houma and graduated from Nicholls State University in 1993 with a Baccalaureate in Nursing.
After six years of working in the Intensive Care Unit at Terrebonne General Medical Center, Breaux went back to school and earned her master’s degree in Anesthesiology from Charity Hospital/Xavier University in New Orleans. She has been a practicing CRNA for 20 years and a Chief CRNA for the last six years. She is currently a self-employed and managing member of All Saints Anesthesia LLC in Houma.
Breaux is married to Scott Shaw, and her hobbies include cooking, gardening, and traveling. She and her husband are charter members and active contributors to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, as well as the Regional Military Museum in Houma.
“My appreciation of history and my love of family provides me great pride and incentive to serve on the Billeaud Company board of directors,” she says. “I am honored to have been given the opportunity to serve, to learn, and to grow with the Billeaud Company family.”
